Subaru Outback vs. Jeep Cherokee

  • As with all Subaru models, the 2023 Outback is equipped standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. The "trail-ready" Jeep Cherokee offers 4WD, but it also has a more expensive starting MSRP.
  • While the new 2023 Jeep Cherokee may have the edge on towing capacity, the cargo capacity is greater in the Outback so you can still fit plenty in the SUV before worrying about hitching a trailer to your ride.
  • Adaptive cruise control and many other tech and safety features are standard on both vehicles but once again, you'll be paying more for a new Cherokee than the Subaru Outback, and not just up front. At the gas pump too as the Outback is more fuel efficient than its Jeep counterpart.
