Subaru has recently announced a recall on select Subaru models due to a fuel pump issue. Some vehicles equipped with this faulty fuel pump have experienced issues with the engine suddenly stalling or not starting. Other warning signs have included a rougher than usual ride, shaking, loud noises from the engine, or even the appearance of the check engine warning light.  

The following Subaru models may have been affected:

  • 2018 Subaru Forester SUVs
  • 2018-2020 Subaru Impreza sedans and hatchbacks

  • 2018-2019 Subaru WRX sedans
